Try elevating his bowls and moistening his food, if you feed kibble. Make sure his collar is loose (try a martingale style or if he pulls when on leash, a harness). My boyfriends dogs had it once, and we found out that we accidently took it home to them from the shelter we voulenteer at. BUT my puppy didn't get it because i give him Kennel Cough Prevention Nasel Spray Annually =) So once this is treated (which will just take a few days for the hacking, but a week or 2 for treatment) Make sure you give the Dobby The Nasel Spray so you don't accidently give it to him again =) i’m almost positive it’s kennel cough.
